This anthology is a collection of climate fiction from South Asia that gathers twelve urgent, genre-bending

 short stories at the crossroads of environmental grief, inherited knowledge, and radical imagination.

The writers-emerging and established-grapple with loss, memory, migration, and resistance, asking what it means to belong to a place that is no longer what it was. Some stories lean into folklore and ancestral wisdom: others tap into science fiction, slow violence, and the quite devastation of the everyday. All of them wrestle with what's been broken and what might still be salvaged.

This anthology is not about spectacle but about reckoning. It invites readers to sit with discomfort, to bear witness, and to reimagine what survival could mean when extractive systems collapse.

Who gets to survive? What do we remember, and what do we choose to forget? How do we carry on when

the ground beneath us is shifting-literally and otherwise?
